Explore the world of the Tarot with one of our talented psychics

Playing cards first entered Europe from Asia around the late 1300’s.  They began being used for divination purposes around the late 1400’s when specialized decks started to be developed.  The advent of the printing press made them available to more than just the rich elite class.  However, it is thought that the roots of Tarot go back over a thousand years.

Tarot is a divination system that uses a set of cards to gain insight into issues involving life changes, relationships and opportunities.

Each card carries a symbolism that changes with its relationship to the other cards in the deck.  Learn the hidden meanings of the various cards.  Tap into your subconscious mind to bring forth the power of the cards.  Whatever your goals, for serious insight or just for the fun of it, let us help you step onto the path of the Tarot.

The Mighty Dead

Text Box: Traditions across the world honor and recognize the sanctified dead-not just the ancestors of flesh and blood we knew in life, but the ancestors of our spiritual traditions, who died in a state of alignment and union with the divine. Known as the Boddisattvas, Saints, Secret Chiefs, Ascended Masters and Inner Plane Adepts in other traditions, Witches know our ancestors as the Hidden Company, the Mighty Dead of our Timeless Tradition in the Nameless Art. In truth, they are the guiding principles of our modern tradition, as inner world priests and priestesses to the gods. Understand the nature of the Mighty Dead and how to work directly with them for your own healing and evolution, and your work in the worlds of flesh and spirit.

TWO BIRDS TRADING

PRESENTS A WORKSHOP ON THE

NATIVE AMERICAN DREAM CATCHER

AUGUST 22, 2010  4-6 PM

Adults $12/Children $6

Includes supplies

The Dream Catcher is a Native American Tradition that comes to us first from the Ojibwa or  Chippewa People.  From there, the Dream Catcher  spread to other Native Peoples. It can now be found in many homes across the nation.

Kevin will guide you through the history and tradition of the real Dream Catcher and help you to craft your own in true Native American fashion.

Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with good and bad dreams  The Dream Catcher protects the sleeper by catching negative or bad dreams.   Trapped in the web, they a caught and held  until they expire in the sunlight.   Positive, good dreams find their way through to the sleeping person.
